High School Prank Leads to Arrest

Things got a little "touchy" when officials at Hickman High School in Columbia, Mo., discovered that one of the yearbook student staffers had changed a student's last name to "Masturbate." Now 17-year-old Kaitlyn Booth is facing criminal charges after being arrested on suspicion of first-degree property damage, a felony, and harassment. She allegedly changed the last name of fellow student Raigan Mastain to "Masturbate" in the Hickman Kresset, the school's yearbook. While no official charges have been filed, Assistant Boone County prosecutor Spencer Bartlett said the case remains under review. The prank affected some 720 yearbooks. As , instead the yearbook staff fixed Mastain's name for the online version, and spent 12 hours placing stickers over Mastain's name. Ironically, the incredibly mature and well-grounded Miss Mastain wasn't really that angry. She told reporters, "I was kind of annoyed. It was stupid, but I wasn't that upset. When you're in high school, you do stuff that is not necessarily the smartest, and this was an example of that."
