Heavy Voter Turnout in Hancock County

In what has to be one of the heaviest voter turnouts in many years, if ever, voters went to the polls in droves in Hancock County to cast their ballots in the 2016 election.

Ellsworth saw a 73.38% voter turnout with 4332 ballots cast from 5903 registered voters. Bar Harbor saw a turnout of 72% with 3217 ballots cast. Fletcher's Landing had a 74.5% turnout with 4400 ballots cast from 5903 registered voters. The Town of Lamoine had a voter turnout of 73.11% with 1112 ballots cast from 1521 registered voters.
