We have needed it, and now we are going to get it! We can expect 3 plus inches of rain today and tomorrow, October 25th and 26th in Downeast Maine and the Greater Bangor area.

Winds are expected to be southerly Wednesday afternoon 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 35 miles per hour. Tonight, the winds will be southerly 10 to 15 miles per hour with gusts up to 30 miles per hour.

If you couple the winds with the fact that there hasn't been a huge leaf drop, the trees are heavy and the winds could lead to downed limbs which may cause power outages. To view the live Emera Maine Power Outage report click HERE
