Have You Seen This Sign?

The MDI Marathon was this past Sunday, October 16th. Thousands of people came to the Island to run and watch. Unfortunately someone decided to take home a souvenir that didn't belong to them! Someone took the MDI Marathon's iconic Citgo sign and they'd like it back! Have you seen it?

This metal sign is approx 5' by 5' and quite heavy. The sign is a salute to the famed one on the Boston Marathon route and it has great sentimental value to everyone involved with the MDI Marathon,  not to mention it was pretty expensive to buy.

If you have any information, you could call the Bar Harbor or Southwest Harbor Police Department and leave an anonymous message or drop it off outside of the Bar Harbor Public Safety Building
