Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound At Night (November 28, 2014 Photo Chris Popper Townsquare Media)[/caption]Before coming to Maine, I lived on Block Island, Rhode Island. I loved living on the water and thought that I was extremely lucky, as growing up in Bermuda, I took the ocean for granted. It's hard to believe that the first 13 years I lived in Bangor, I don't think I went down to Bar Harbor more than once or twice. Now it seems, I live down there, especially in the winter time, with all the basketball games.

As I drove down to the Island this afternoon, I saw the lobster crate tree at the Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound and it brought a huge smile to my face. It was covered with snow, and the wreaths were beautiful. I thought I would take a picture of it, but I had passed it before I thought about it. I said to myself that I would stop on the way home, and get a picture, and boy was I happy I did. Now it was lit up, and really, is there anything else that says Holidays and Downeast Maine more than this?

If you think that something else says Holidays and Downeast Maine, take a picture and post it in the comments! Happy Holidays!
