This week we invite you to meet Anna. Anna’s only wish for the holidays is find a new home.

This sweet tiger cat has been at the shelter for a very long time and really deserves a forever home. In fact, she arrived at the SPCA in October 2012 and has spent the last three Christmases at our shelter. Anna has some issues with her rear legs so she can’t run very fast. But this 11-year-old girl  loves  a soft comfortable bed,  looking out the window or playing with her scratching mat.  If you’re looking for a low-key companion to share your holiday and your home, Anna might be the perfect cat for you. She is spayed, up to date on her shots and ready to be adopted.

The adoption fee for senior cats like Anna is being waived through the end of the year. Fees for younger animals have also been reduced. To meet Anna or any of the other wonderful dogs and cats looking for a new home, please visit the SPCA shelter at 141 Bar Harbor Road, Trenton. For more information, you can also call the SPCA at 667-8088 or visit our Facebook page or our website at
