H.S. Basketball This Week 12/8-12

It's a busy week of High School Basketball and WDEA AM 1370 and WDEA Internet Radio will have a game every day, Tuesday - Saturday December 8th - 12th. Here's the schedule

Tuesday night, December 8th, the Ellsworth Girls will play their 1st home game of the season against Central High School from East Corinth. The Ellsworth Girls 1-0 defeated Foxcroft Academy in their opening game, while Central is also 1-0 after they defeated Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln. The pregame on the radio starts at 6:45 with the opening tip at 7 PM.

Wednesday night, December 9th, the MDI Girls will continue to play on the road, going to East Machias to play the Washington Academy Raiders. MDI is 1-0 after defeating Old Town, while Washington Academy is 2-0 with wins against Sumner Academy and Calais. The pregame starts on the radio at 6:45 with the opening tip at 7 PM.

Wednesday night, NOT on the radio, the Ellsworth boys will play their 1st home game against Central. Ellsworth is 1-0 after defeating Foxcroft Academy while Central is 1-0 after defeating Mattanawcook Academy 82-71. Although not on the radio, check back, as we will have a full box score and recap of the game on the website.

Thursday night, the MDI Boys travel to Washington Academy. MDI is 1-0 after defeating Old Town in their opening game. The pregame on the radio starts at 6:45 with the opening tip at 7 PM.

Friday night, the MDI Girls will play their 1st home game at Bernard Parady Gymnasium when they play host to the Hermon Hawks. The pregame starts at 6:45 with the opening tip at 7 PM.

Saturday afternoon, the MDI Boys will play their 1st home game at Bernard Parady Gymnasium when they play host to the Hermon Hawks. The pregame starts at 3:15  with the opening tip at 3:30 PM.
