Gunnar Hansen Passes Away
Noted author and actor Gunnar Hansen, a MDI resident passed away at his home on Mount Desert Island on Saturday, November 7th at the age of 68 from pancreatic cancer.
Hansen was best known for his portrayal of Leatherface in the 1974 horror film "Texas Chain Saw Massacre".
He also wrote the book Chain Saw Confidential: How We Made the World's Most Notorious Horror Movie
He is survived by his partner of 13 years, Betty Tower,
