The MDI Trojans dug themselves a big hole in the 1st Half at Blue Hill, when they played the George Stevens Academy Eagles on Friday night, December 19th. The Trojans trailed 46-28 at the half, but despite outscoring GSA in the 2nd Half 48-38, they ended up losing their third straight game 84-76.

MDI went 10-16 from the 3-point arc, with Riley Swanson going 6-7 and Aaron Snurkowski 3-4. Andrew Phelps was 1-4 from 3-point land.

George Steven's Academy went 13-16 from the free throw line in the 4th Quarter to secure the win. GSA was paced by Kelsey Allen, who scored 32 points and provided 7 assists and 7 rebounds. Jarrod Chase contributed 15 points. Taylor Schildroth had 10 points and 8 assists.

MDI was led by Riley Swanson with 22 points, Russell Kropff had a season high 16 points, Graham Good had 12 points and Aaron Snurkowski had 11 points.

MDI now 0-3, plays host to Washington Academy on Monday, December 22nd at 7 PM. George Stevens Academy, 3-3 plays at Central on Monday, December 22nd at 7 PM.
