At age 23, Mookie Betts has done something that only Ted Williams has done in a Boston Red Sox uniform since 1913 - hit three home runs in two games during a season.

Betts blasted three bombs and collected eight RBI Sunday afternoon as the Sox beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 16-2. Two of the three homers came off D-Backs ace Zach Greinke.

Betts is now hitting .313 with 26 HR and 84 RBI.

Meanwhile, Rick Porcello cruised through seven innings, allowing one run on three hits, no walks and four strikeouts.  Porcello is 16-3 with an ERA of 3.30. That's a career high win total for Porcello.  He's now 12-0 at Fenway this season, becoming the 1st pitcher to win 12 straight decisions at Fenway since Jose Santiago (May 14 1967- June 27, 1968) and the 1st Red Sox pitcher to begin a season 12-0 at Fenway since Dave Ferriss in 1946!

Dustin Pedroia was 5-6 with a double, and 2 runs batted in. Since batting leadoff on Wednesday, August 10th he is batting .500 going 11-22.

Andrew Benintendi was 2-4, with a double and a run batted in. He now has 5 multi-hit games in his 1st 11 games and is batting .394 going 13-33
