Foliage is just beginning to turn up in Northern Maine and according to Gail Ross, Fall Foliage Coordinator for Maine "We are right on target for a glorious fall foliage season. With the low leaf drop, we anticipate that the northern part of the state will soon be a tapestry of beautiful colors"

Monday, September 22nd, is the first day of Fall. We will have to see what effects tonight's frost will have on the leaf drop, as temperatures are expected to be in the lower 30's and upper 20's for much of the state North of Bangor.
