Temperatures are supposed to plummet tonight after the rain and highs in the 40's this afternoon. With temperatures going down to about 10 above, there exists the possibility of a flash freeze, where rain and any standing water will freeze.

Driving could be dangerous tonight, and there exists the possibility of power outages should ice form on tree branches and they break coming into contact with power lines.

If you have any standing water you'll want to shovel it off your walkways and driveways. Make sure to get some ice melt so you can apply it to your driveway, sidewalks and steps tonight.

Be sure to allow extra time if you have to travel tonight and tomorrow, and be sure to make sure that when driving your windshields and windows are clear of ice and snow, and you're not just looking out a little hole!
