One of my absolute favorite festivals is this weekend, in Southwest Harbor! It's the Annual Harbor House Flamingo Festival July 15-18 and in keeping with Acadia National Park's Centennial the theme is Flamingos Through Time... Celebrating Acadia National Park's 100th Year! I'll be there broadcasting again this year, for the 9th year in a row on AM 1370 and WDEA Internet Radio from 8AM to 12 Noon on Saturday, July 16th.

The festivities kick off Friday, July 15th with the American Legion Lobster Bake under the tent starting at 5:30. Tickets are $20.00 per person.

On Saturday the 16th here's what's happening...
7 AM -8:30 AM Pancake Breakfast Under the Tent $5.00 per person
9 AM - Flamingo Parade
10 AM -12 Noon Kid's Carnival, Bounce House, Dunk Tank and Giant Slide
12:30 PM Barn Arts Collective Children's Show Under the Tent
10 AM - 2 PM - Craft Fair
9:30 AM - 1 PM Coast Guard Open House at the Coast Guard Station on the Clark Point Road

On Sunday the 17th.. Here's what's happening
7AM - Flamingo 4 Miler (Tremont Trot) Registration starts at 7 AM at the Tremont School, leave for the Seawall Picnic Area at 8 AM. Race starts at 8:30 AM
10 AM - 2 PM - Craft Fair
3 PM - Feathered Friends Golf Scrambel at the Causeway Club
5 PM - 7:30 PM - Polo and Yach Club Cocktail Party at the Causeway Club Barn

Monday July 18th
7:30 PM - Flash in the Pans! Steel Drum Band concert on the Pemetic Green.
