Flamingo Festival in SW Harbor

This weekend is one of my favorite festivals in the summer, it's the annual Flamingo Festival at the Harbor House in Southwest Harbor, and this year's theme is Christmas in July!

This is a fun, family friendly event that lasts Friday through Monday! I'll be down broadcasting from Southwest Harbor Saturday morning, July 15th from 8AM to 12Noon thanks to our sponsors Southwest Foodmart, Carroll Drug and First National Bank. This is at least the 11th year I will have been broadcasting from the event!

Friday, July 14th
5:30 pm American Legion Lobster Bake Under the tent $20 per person

Saturday, July 15th
7-8:30 am Pancake Breakfast under the tent $5 per person
9:30 am Flamingo Parade
10-1 pm Kids Carnival, Bounce House, Dunk Tank & Giant Slide
10-2 pm Craft Fair
9:30-1 pm Coast Guard Open House at the Coast Guard Station on Clark Point Road

Sunday, July 16th
7am Flamingo 4-Miler (Tremont Trot) registration starts at 7am at the Tremont School, leave for Seawall Picnic Area at 8am. Race starts at 8:30.
10-2 pm Craft Fair
3 pm Feathered Friends Golf Scramble at Causeway Club
5-7:30 pm Polo & Yacht Club Cocktail Party at Causeway Club Barn featuring The Crown Vics! Tickets can be purchased at the door or at Harbor House $35 per person.

Monday, July 17th
7:30 pm Flash in the Pans! Steel Drum Band concert on the Pemetic green! Suggested donation of $5. Benefit for Harbor House & the Acadia Family Center
