Ellsworth Volleyball Wins 1st

Congratulations to the Ellsworth Eagle's Volleyball Team who evened their record at 1-1 with a 3-0 victory over Sumner on Monday, September 14th. It was Coach Whitney Ranger's first victory at Ellsworth High School!  The individual game totals were 25-18, 25-21 and 25-22.

Rachel Bunker led the Ellsworth Eagles in kills. Delaney Sargent was the serve receive leader, dig leader as well as serve leader. Lexi Hennigan led the team with assists, one more than Alexa Grant.

Ellsworth has a busy week, with 3 games scheduled this week; Wednesday September 16th they host the Washington Academy Raiders at 5 PM. On Thursday September 17th they host the Machias Bulldogs at 4 PM and then on Saturday September 19th they host Thornton Academy at 5:30 PM.

Sumner 0-2 hosts Calais on Wednesday September 16th at 5 PM and Narraguagus on Thursday September 17th at 5 PM
