Ellsworth Volleyball [VIDEO]

The Ellsworth Eagles were practicing in Katsiaficas Gymnasium on Tuesday, August 18th under the watchful eyes of new head coach Whitney Ranger. Ranger replaced long time head coach Michael Kelley.

Whitney Ranger is a first year Special Education teacher at Ellsworth Elementary School. She moved to Maine from California and is a former volleyball player at Division II Dominican College in New York.

In the practice today, there was a lot of running as the player responsible for the lost point was running up and backs. Here's a little sample of the sights and sounds of the practice.

The Ellsworth Eagles have exhibitions scheduled with Bucksport on August 27th and with Machias on August 29th before beginning their regular season.
