Ellsworth Volleyball Sweeps Machias

On a homecoming Saturday, the Ellsworth Volleyball team defeated Machias 3-0 at Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth. Individual game scores were 25-23, 25-17, 25-18.

With the victory, Ellsworth improves to 4-3. Ellsworth plays at Bucksport, Tuesday September 23rd at 4 PM and then at Falmouth on Saturday, September 27th at 2 PM. Machias loses for the first time this season, and is now 3-1. The Bulldogs play a home and home series against Woodland next week; at Woodland on Monday September 22nd at 4 PM and then home against Woodland on Friday, September 26th at 4 PM.
