Ellsworth Sweeps Bucksport 3-0

The Ellsworth Volleyball Team swept Bucksport 3-0 on Tuesday evening at Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth. The individual set scores were 25-15, 25-19, 25-20.

Leading the way for the Ellsworth Eagles were Alexa Grant with 8 aces. Sammy Mason had 15 kills. Delaney Sargent had 15 service receptions and Lexi Henningan and Alexa Grant each had 12 assists.

Leading the way for the Bucksport Golden Bucks were Kayley Jerome with 1 ace and 8 digs, Joy Fitzgerald with 4 digs and 2 kills, Erin McGinty with 4 digs, and Brooke Megno with three digs

Ellsworth now 3-3 plays at MDI on Wednesday, September 23rd at 5:30 PM. Bucksport now 1-3 plays host to Washington Academy on Wednesday, September 23rd at 5 PM.
