Ellsworth-Sumner Football Team Players Recognized at LTC Awards Banquet

Congratulations are due to Keith Robinson of Sumner Memorial High School who played football this fall for the Ellsworth-Sumner football team! Keith was selected as First Team All Conference for Offensive Tackle. Robinson was also selected to the Academic All-Conference team. He becomes the first player for the Ellsworth-Sumner football team to be ever selected to the LTC All Conference First Team.

Keith was also a nominee for player of the year, an award won by Josh Gray of Bucksport. Keith also claims another first, in that he has been actively recruited by Colby College, making him the first player for the Ellsworth-Sumner team to have been actively recruited!

Congratulations also go out to Tyler Getchell who received All Conference Second Team recognition as split end for his 49 catch effort this fall.  Steven Cowles Quarterback, Michael York Linebacker and Michael Garland Fullback also received Honorable Mentions at the award banquet..
