Ellsworth Softball Upsets Erskine Academy

The #10 seeded Ellsworth Eagles traveled to South China to play the #7 Erskine Academy Eagles and came away with the victory, defeating Erskine Academy 9-2!

Ellsworth pounded out 20 hits en route to the 9-2 victory. Ellsworth was led by Abby Lynch who had a triple, double, and 2 singles. Caitlin Bean had 3 singles and 2 rbi's. Shelby Cote had a double and single with 2 rbi's. Leah Stevens had 3 singles and scored 3 runs.  Mariah Brown pitched 5 scoreless innings for Ellsworth and  Caitlin Bean pitched the 6th and 7th giving up 2 runs.

Ellsworth is now 8-9 on the season while Erskine Academy finishes their season at 9-8

Ellsworth will now play the #2 seeded Old Town Coyotes in Old Town on Thursday, June 11th at 3:30 PM
