The Ellsworth Public Library is going to the dogs during the month of July! There is a "just for fun" pet show on July 21st and they are collecting pet food in lieu of overdue fines!

Rather than collecting money for overdue books, they are encouraging you to bring in a pet item that will be donated to the SPCA of Hancock County. Some ideas include

  • Canned dog and cat (pate style) food.
  • Dog and Cat toys
  • Any cat treats
  • Beggin' strips and large milk bones
  • Paper towels, bleach and fragrance free laundry soap.

Remember your donations are "paw-some"!
