Ellsworth Police Conducting Safety Check Friday

Consider yourself warned! The Ellsworth Police Department will be conducting safety checks of vehicles traveling on High Street in Ellsworth between the hours of 10 p.m. Friday (Sept. 2) and 2 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 3)

Labor Day Weekend is the last big holiday of the summer. Be careful driving home tonight if you're attending the Ellsworth or MDI home football games. There are lots of tourists in the area, and lots of summertime traffic still.
