The Ellsworth Eagles were nipped by the John Bapst Crusaders, 3-2, Tuesday, September 20th at the University of Maine.

Ellsworth scored 1st, when Colby Clarke scored off of a penalty kick with 13:04 remaining in the 1st Half.

John Bapst tied the score 1-1 when Alveralo Vals scored for the Crusaders, with 11:02 remaining.

Ellsworth took a 2-1 lead in the 2nd Half, when Bradly Smith scored, off of an assist from Jack McKechnie with 31:22 remaining.

The score stayed that way until 3:07 remaining when Vals scored his 2nd goal of the game.

The Crusaders took the lead, and won the game when Tanner Ackley found the back of the net.

Ellsworth is now 4-2 and will play host to MDI on Thursday night, in a game that will be broadcast starting at 5:55 on WDEA Internet Radio.

John Bapst is now 5-0 and will play at Foxcroft Academy on Thursday afternoon, September 22nd at 4 PM.
