Ellsworth Native Scores 4 Goals for MMA in 17-8 Lax Loss

Ellsworth native Dean Samuelson scored 4 goals on Friday afternoon for the Maine Maritime Academy Men's Lacrosse Team, but it wasn't enough, as the Mariners fell to the Norwich Cadets 17-8 in a non-conference game at Ritchie Field in Castine.

Samuelson who is a sophomore attended Pomperaug High School. Last year he was selected to the NAC All-Conference Team. He scored 26 goals, and led the team with 21 assists, totaling 47 points.

The Maine Maritime Academy Men's Lacrosse Team is 0-5 on the season. The Mariners open North Atlantic Conference action Saturday afternoon March 26th when they play host to Green Mountain College from Vermont at 1 PM
