Ellsworth-MDI Baseball Tuesday

The High School Baseball regular season ends on Tuesday, May 31st for the Ellsworth Eagles and MDI Trojans, and it's only fitting that it ends with a game between the two teams. The Ellsworth Eagles travel to MDI to take on the Trojans at 3:45 in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA and WDEA Internet Radio. .
MDI is 11th in the Heal Point Standings with a 7-8 record. Ellsworth is 12th in the Heal Point Standings with a 5-10 record. The top 12 teams make the playoffs. Caribou is in 13th place just behind Ellsworth. The winner of the Ellsworth-MDI game will definitely make the playoffs. The loser will be on the bubble and have to wait until Caribou plays Presque Isle on Wednesday, June 1st to find out if they will be in the playoffs.
