It was Senior Night at Ellsworth High School for the Girl's Soccer Team on Thursday October 17th, and the girls went out in style, defeating John Bapst 3-2!

Katey Curtis scored the second of her three goals off an Emily Berry pass with 29:12 left in the second half, breaking a 2-2 tie. Curtis, who scored a hat trick (3 goals) for Ellsworth tallied an unassisted goal in the first half, then added an insurance goal in the second half. Courtney Wasson also scored for Ellsworth. Callie Hammer was in goal for the Eagles, and made 8 saves on 10 shots.

For John Bapst, Jane Branch and Courtney Benson scored goals and Anna Zmistowski made 6 saves on 14 shots.

Ellsworth is now 7-4-1 on the season with two games remaining. They play tomorrow, Saturday, October 19th at Old Town at 6 PM and then close out the regular season Monday, October 21 at MDI at 6 PM and that game will be heard on AM 1370 WDEA.
