Ellsworth Girls Defeat Caribou 3-0

The Ellsworth Girl's Soccer Team improved to 4-1-1 on the season on Tuesday, September 24th when they defeated the Caribou Vikings squad 3-0.

Ellsworth's Morgan Card figured in the scoring of all three goals for the Eagles. Katie Curtis scored, assisted by Morgan Card. Then, sister Maddie Card scored assisted by Morgan Card and finally Morgan Card scored unassisted.

Callie Hammer recorded the shutout for Ellsworth, as she faced 11 Caribou shots and had 5 saves. Morgan Outing was in goal for Caribou, and Ellsworth had 14 shots.

Up next for Ellsworth is their first of two games against MDI, when Ellsworth will host MDI on Thursday, September 26th at 6 PM. That game will be heard on WDEA AM 1370 and WDEA Internet Radio.
