Ellsworth Girls 5 WA 1

The Ellsworth Girl's Softball Team picked up their first win of the season, defeating the Washington Academy Raiders 5-1 on Monday afternoon in Ellsworth.

For the Eagles Mariah Brown led the way going 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored. Leah Stevens had 2 hits and Caitlin Bean had a triple. Mariah Brown picked up the win for Ellsworth, striking out 10 and walking 1.

Ellsworth, now 1-3 will play at Old Town on Thursday, May 7th and host Foxcroft Academy on Friday, May 8th, both games at 4:30 PM.
