The Ellsworth Eagles Football Team fell to the Mt. View Mustangs 43-35 in overtime on Saturday, September 9th in Thorndike, Maine.

Ellsworth led 35-27 but Mount View scored the game-tying touchdown and 2 point conversion with 31 seconds left in regulation.

Mount View scored in overtime and faked the extra point, and converted the 2 point conversion, to take the lead 43-35.

Ellsworth had the opportunity to tie the score, but Connor Crawford was picked off, at the goal line on a 3rd and 10.

Ellsworth 0-2 will play their home opener Friday, September 15th at 7 PM against Hermon.
