Ellsworth-Erskine Academy Soccer

It will be a battle of the Eagles this afternoon at Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth, as the #1 seeded Ellsworth Eagles play host to the #10 seeded Erskine Academy Eagles for the Northern Maine Class B Soccer Championship at 4 PM. WDEA AM 1370 and WDEA Internet Radio will be broadcasting the game beginning at 4 PM.

Ellsworth, the defending Eastern/Northern Maine champion, defeated Foxcroft Academy and Waterville to advance to the Championship. Erskine Academy, defeated #7 MDI in a prelim contest, and then #2 Winslow and #3 Presque Isle in overtime.

The winner of this afternoon's match will play for the State Championship Saturday, November 7th at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland at 5:30 PM
