Ellsworth Employees Honored [PHOTOS]
At Monday, August 15th's Ellsworth City Council Meeting, the City Council presented awards to 4 Ellsworth Police Department employees and a member of the Ellsworth Water Department.
John Wedin from the Ellsworth Water Department was recognized for 10 years of service to the City.
Teri Linscott was honored for 5 years of service with the Ellsworth Police Department
Chad Wilmot was honored for 15 years of service with the Ellsworth Police Department
Detective Dotty Small was honored for 35 years of service with the Ellsworth Police Department!
Then Officer Amie Torrey received a Letter of Commendation for her actions on July 28th when she found a man unconscious. She performed CPR on the man until County Ambulance arrived. They transferred the man to Maine Coast Memorial where he was given Narcan and revived and released shortly thereafter.
All available officers of the Ellsworth Police Department were in attendance to honor their coworkers during the presentations.
