The Ellsworth High School Cheerleaders are headed to the Class B Cheering Championships after finishing 3rd at the Class B North Regional Cheering Championship at the Cross Insurance Center on Saturday, January 23rd.

Old Town finished 1st, Hermon 2nd and Ellsworth 3rd. Rounding out the top 6 positions and advancing to the State Finals are John Bapst Memorial High School, Presque Isle High School, and Mount View High School. MDI finished 8th.

The State Cheering Championships will be held on Saturday, February 6th at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
