Ellsworth Boys Shutout MDI 2-0 on Senior Night [PHOTOS]

The Ellsworth Boys Soccer Team shutout MDI 2-0 on Senior Recognition Night at Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth on Tuesday, October 16th.

It was the final game for  Ellsworth Seniors Atticus Deeny, Shane McCarthy, Connor DeRaps, Carter Frank and Keegan Grey.

The score was tied 0-0 at the end of the 1st Half.

Nate Mason scored with 31:42 remaining in the 2nd Half with an assist from Pascal Poirier. Carter Frank scored a 1:22 later with an assist from Shane McCarthy.

MDI was on the attack the last 10 minutes, but couldn't get the ball into the net.

Ellsworth finishes the season with a 3-10-1 record but didn't qualify for the playoffs.

MDI finishes the season with a record of 5-7-2 and will play a prelim playoff game on Friday, October 19th against an opponent to be determined still.
