Ellsworth “Beats” Caribou 54-37

The Ellsworth Eagles rebounded from their loss yesterday, and beat Caribou 54-37 in Caribou to go 1-1 on the road trip and improve their record to 5-2.

Ellsworth was led by Madison Card with 16 points, Sammy Mason had 10 points and Caitlin Bean had 9 points. Ellsworth was 20-53 in 2-points, 2-9 from behind the 3 point arc and 8-20 from the free throw line.

Caribou was led by Searra Herbert with a game high 17 points, and Gabrielle Marquis had 7 points. The Vikings shot 13-39 for 2 points, 1-15 from behind the 3-point arc and 8-19 from the foul line

Ellsworth, now 5-2 plays host to MDI on Friday, January 2nd at 7 PM in a game that will be broadcast on WDEA AM 1370 and WDEA Internet Radio.

Caribou 1-4 hosts Old Town Saturday January 3rd at 2 PM.
