The Girl's High School Soccer season came to a close last night, October 22nd, and both the Ellsworth and MDI Girl's Soccer teams will be hosting preliminary games this Friday, October 25th.

Ellsworth finished 8th with a 7-6-1 record, and they will play host to Old Town, who were 9th, with a 7-7-0 record, on Friday October 25th. It will be a chance for redemption for Ellsworth, as they lost to Old Town twice this year, on September 26th at home 4-1 and then in Old Town on October 19th 2-1.

The MDI Trojans finished 6th this season with a 9-4-1 record, one of their best finishes in recent years. They will play host to the Nokomis Warriors on October 25th at 4 PM. Nokomis the 11th seed finished with a 5-5-4 record. The two teams did not meet during the regular season.

The winner of the Ellsworth-Old Town game will take on #1 seed Waterville in Waterville on October 29th, while the winner of the MDI- Nokomis match will play #3 Camden Hills in Camden Hills on October 29th in Quarterfinal games.
