Ellsworth 9/10 Softball Plays For Title Tonight

Get your maroon on and get ready to cheer the Ellsworth 9/10 Minor Softball Team tonight (Friday) as they play host to Machias in the District 1 Championship at DeMeyer Field in Ellsworth at 5 PM.

The Machias Team advanced to the finals after a nail biting 12-11 extra inning win over the Acadians on Wednesday, July 5th.

The winner of the Ellsworth-Machias game will represent District 1 in the Maine 9/10 State Championship in Scarborough. Ellsworth hasn't lost yet. If Machias beats Ellsworth tonight, then Ellsworth will have to travel to Machias for one more winner take all game

The Ellsworth Team is managed by Josh Stevens with Assistant Coaches Ron Bean and Steve Sullivan. The Team is comprised of Addison Atherton, Lily Bean, Elizabeth Boles, Callie Chase, Shanteena Griffiths, Brielle Grindle, Reese Hellum, Natalie Jagels, Kelsie Lambert, Sophia Lynch, Tanner Mason, Anna Stephens, and Jayden Sullivan
