Ellsworth 2nd Sumner 4th and MDI 10th in State Cheering Competition

It was a cheertastic day in Augusta, as the 12 best Cheering Teams from Class B and C throughout the entire State of Maine competed at the Augusta Civic Center for the State Cheering Titles and Downeast Maine was well represented with Ellsworth and MDI competing in Class B and Sumner in Class C

After 2 plus hours of incredible competition the winners were crowned. Ellsworth was the Class B State runner-up, finishing 2nd to Hermon. MDI competing in the States for the 2nd year in a row was 10th. The Top 5 in Class B were 1-Hermon, 2- Ellsworth, 3-Medomak Valley, 4-Old Town and 5-Leavitt

In Class C Sumner Memorial High School finished 4th! The Top 5 in Class C were 1-Lisbon, 2- Sacope Valley, 3- Central, 4-Sumner, and 5-Mattanawcook Academy.
