Ellsworth 2nd MDI 6th in Big East Cheering Championships

The Big East Cheering Championships were held at Ellsworth High School on Saturday afternoon, January 12th and Hermon came in 1st, with Ellsworth finishing 2nd. MDI was 6th.

The official finish was

10. Foxcroft Academy

MDI competed without Mackenzie Dyer who's father Shawn, unfortunately passed away on January 5th and who's funeral was today, Saturday, January 12th. I know the entire Big East sends their thoughts and prayers to the Dyer family.

Talk about pressure, MDI's Rylee Burns sang the National Anthem at the Big East Cheering Championships with just a few minutes notice. To say she rocked it and did MDI and the Big East proud is an understatement. Thanks to MDI Coach Missy Leland for capturing this video
