The Ellsworth Eagle's Girl's Soccer Team picked up their 1st victory over the season and a measure of revenge against Foxcroft Academy, defeating the Ponies 2-1 at Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth. The game, played on a cold crisp Fall night, was delayed during the game as the lights went out mid game!

Leah Stevens and Kira Kennedy both had unassisted goals for the Eagles. Grace Francis scored the lone goal for Foxcroft Acaedmy.

Callie Hammer made 11 saves for the Eagles while Kiara Prescott made 12 saves for the Ponies.

Ellsworth now 1-6 will play host to MDI on Monday, September 28th at 5 PM in a game that will be broadcast on WDEA Internet Radio..
