EHS Prelim Games Tuesday and Wednesday

The Ellsworth High School Basketball Teams have some unfinished work as they play prelim games Tuesday, February 13th and Wednesday February 14th in the hopes of advancing to the Cross Insurance Center for Tourney 2018.

Tuesday, February 13th the 10th seeded Ellsworth Girls Basketball Team travel down to Waterville to play the 7th seeded Waterville Purple Panthers. The Eagles finished the regular season with a 10-8 record, while Waterville finished 13-5. Tipoff is at 6:30 PM and the game will be broadcast on WDEA Internet Radio, on our Free Downloadable APP , on any Alexa enabled device and on AM 1370 WDEA with the pregame starting at 3:15 PM. The winner of this game plays the 2nd seeded John Bapst Crusaders Friday night, February 16th at 6:30 PM at the Cross Insurance Center

The Ellsworth Boys Basketball Team, the 6th seed play host to the Orono Red Riots the 11th seed on Wednesday, February 14th at 6 PM. Ellsworth finished the season with a 11-7 record while Orono ended the season with a 6-12 record. Ellsworth beat Orono 66-60 on December 30th at Ellsworth. Tipoff is at 6 PM and the game will be broadcast on WDEA Internet Radio, on our Free Downloadable APP , on any Alexa enabled device and on AM 1370 WDEA with the pregame starting at 5:45 PM. The winner of this game plays the 3rd seeded Presque Isle Wildcats Friday night, February 16th at 8 PM at the Cross Insurance Center
