EHS JV Softball Falls to Hermon

The Ellsworth JV Softball Team played their 1st regular season game on Monday, April 25th, falling to the Hermon Hawks 10-3 in Hermon.

Katie Hammer went 2-4 with 2 base hits and was on base twice more as a result of Hermon's errors. She drove in 2 RBIs.

Hammer scored the 1st run for Ellsworth in the top of the 4th inning when Larissa Richards moved her to 2nd base on a fielder's choice. Ellie Clarke then drove her in with a RBI single.

In the 5th inning, Sydney Stevens walked and advanced on a passed ball. Isabelle Perry walked and then Stevens and Perry moved to 3rd and 2nd base respectively on another passed ball. Katie Hammer then drove both runners in, with a 2 out single.

The JV Softball Team plays at Old Town on Thursday, April 28th
