EHS Boys 50 PI 37 [Box Score]

The Ellsworth Boy's Basketball Team took the long road up to Aroostook County and came away with a 50-37 victory over Presque Isle. The Eagles jumped out to a 12-0 lead, but struggled a bit from the foul line, going 15-26. Ellsworth is now 5-1 and are set to play Caribou Thursday, December 31st at 2:30 PM.

Ellsworth led 16-4 at the end of the 1st Quarter, and it was 27-19 at the Half. But the Ellsworth defense clamped down in the 3rd Quarter outscoring Presque Isle 14-5, en route to the 50-37 victory.

Ellsworth was led by Bryce Harmon with 11 points while Bruce St. Peter had 10 points. Aaron Boumil, Nick Bagley and Kyle Golding each had a 3-pointer for the Eagles. Ellsworth was 15-26 from the free throw line.
