The Ellsworth Boys Soccer Team picked up a big Heal Point worthy victory on Monday, October 3rd, handing the George Stevens Academy Eagles their first loss of the season, winning 5-2 at Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth.

Arthur Jodrey scored Ellsworth's first goal of the evening, with 21:41 remaining in the 1st Half. GSA knotted the score at 1-1 with 12:31 remaining in the 1st Half. The score remained tied 1-1 at the end of the 1st Half.

In the 2nd Half, Ellsworth's Zach Harris scored a hat trick. His first goal put Ellsworth ahead 2-1 with an assist from Jack Lee with 31:56 left. GSA tied it at 2-2 with 22:36 remaining. Then Harris put Ellsworth ahead to stay, scoring with 14:51 remaining with an assist from Jodrey.

Jack Lee scored to put Ellsworth ahead 4-2 with an assist from Bradly Smith with 5:47 remaining.

Harris completed the hat trick with just 1:28 left in the game, via a penalty kick.

Peyton Cole, who's birthday is tomorrow, October 3rd, had 11 saves in goal for Ellsworth.

Ellsworth is now 5-5-1 and plays at Caribou on Saturday, October 7th at 4 PM.

GSA now 7-1-3 plays host to MDI on Wednesday, October 4th at 4 PM
