Drug Takeback In Ellsworth Saturday

This Saturday, October 22nd, the Hancock County Sheriff's Department will be at the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce's Office  on High Street, next to Wendy’s in Ellsworth collecting unwanted or expired drugs from 9 AM to 1 PM.

We all know that you shouldn’t dispose of medicine down the toilet, and this is the safest way to get rid of it. Plus, because of the possibility of crime, you don’t want unused drugs staying in your house!

If you can't make this event, check with your local police department. Many departments have secure containers you can dispose of expired and unwanted medication at anytime safely and securely
