Downeast Cheesecakes Opens in Ellsworth [PHOTOS]

There's a new store on Main Street in Ellsworth... Downeast Cheesecakes and if their opening day on Saturday April 1st was any indication, the Ellsworth area is hungry for cheesecake!

Downeast Cheesecakes actually sold out of everything on their opening day! I love how they don't serve individual cheesecake slices, but serve them in the little mason jars! They have freshly made cheesecakes, scones, bagels, breads, coffee cakes, muffins, and donuts on the weekends!

Everything is baked in Franklin and brought to their store in Ellsworth. The store is owned by friend Nick Sarro and Jordan Crosby.

Downeast Cheesecakes operated a pop-up store in the old Grasshopper Shop over the holidays and because of their success decided to open up permanently!

They are open Tuesday through Thursday 7AM-2:30 PM, Friday 7AM-5PM, Saturday 9AM-5 PM and Sunday 9AM-3PM.
