DEFY and AYS Little League Registration Info

Yes there is snow on the ground, but believe it or not, it's time to register your child for Little League Baseball and Softball at the Down East Family Y in Ellsworth and Acadia Youth Sports on the Island.

For the Down East Family Y,  you must register your child by Thursday, March 30th at 5 PM. The registration packet is HERE. Placement Day is Saturday April 1st at Ellsworth High School. Baseball will happen from 11 AM - 2:30 PM and Softball from 3 PM - 5:30 PM. Selection for the various leagues/teams will take place on Tuesday, April 4th. Community Field Day is Saturday, April 22nd at 9 AM and Opening Day is Saturday, May 6th at 10 AM.

For Acadian Youth Sports the deadline for coaches to apply is Wednesday, March 29th.  Deadline to register your child is April 1st. You can register online by clicking HERE,
