It's not at all unusual for me to see deer in or near the road. Living in Maine, it's almost an everyday occurrence. But on the Golden Gate Bridge? Not so much. But that's exactly what happened!

Two beautiful deer found their way onto the Golden Gate and, honestly, they're lucky they made it across. They hit the highway at rush hour, which is risky for vehicles, let alone animals. I think part of the reason why they did as well a they did is because everyone stopped to take video, many of which have turned up on YouTube.

Yahoo! says there were some reports that one of the deer was hit, but by the time the CHiPs guys got there, they were gone. Here's hoping they're okay!
