Former MDI Trojan Lydia DaCorte had a busy, but very successful night for the Wheaton Lyons as the Women's Swimming Team edged the Coast Guard on Friday night, November 2nd.

DaCorte, now a sophomore at Wheaton, set 2 individual pool records , winning the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 10:35.25. She then set another pool record in the 200 Yard Butterfly with a time of 2:08.65. She also won the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:08.29.

DaCorte also was part of the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay Team which set a pool record of 3:38.82. That race gave Wheaton the necessary points to win the meet, in the last race of the night, 148-46.

DaCorte and the Lyons are back in the pool, Saturday afternoon, November 3rd as they take on Wellesley at 1PM.
