Curless PVC Player of Year

A day after being selected as 1 of 40 seniors to play in the 3rd Annual High School All-American Game in North Carolina, MDI High School senior, Opal Curless was selected as the Player of the Year for the Penobscot Valley Conference.

Curless was named to the All New England Girl’s Soccer Team by the National Soccer Coach’s Association in 2014. She scored 27 goals in 2014 and finished the 2015 regular season with 28 goals and 6 hat tricks

She will be attending Division 1 Syracuse next year.
