Craig and UMPI Owls Off to National Tournament

Former Ellsworth Eagle, Hannah Craig (#19 2nd from right in the front row) and the UMPI Owls are off to Pennsylvania to play in the 2016 USCAA Softball National Championships! The Owls are making their first ever Small College World Series appearance. UMPI (25-12), will play the #5 seed, St. Joseph College of Vermont (21-14), on Monday, May 16th at 2 PM.

Craig, a 2015 graduate of Ellsworth High School, appeared in 11 games as a Freshman for the Owls. Playing the outfield, she did not commit an error, and had a .400 On Base Percentage. She had 1 double, knocking in 4 RBI's and walked 5 times.
